Review of Cape Fear (1991) by Robert B — 26 Oct 2009
Other than 'Taxi Driver', to me this is Robert De Niro at his absolute creepiest; I've never seen a movie where I was so despised by his character on-screen. And that is why De Niro is great at what he does.
I think Martin Scorcese did a pretty decent remake of the original thriller by giving it his own particular signatures, but I'm not quite sure if he completely surpassed the original.
