It's a character study on the people stuck in GTMO...problem is it's a character study on the wrong person. It's primary focus is Kristen Stewart's character who is essentially a prison guard.
The movie goes out their way to make you feel sorry for her instead of Peyman Moaadi. They also made some of the serious subjects featured in this pretty light as possible... which is a damn shame and a missed opportunity.
If anything, Peyman Moaadi was really good in it.
