Review of Camp X-Ray (2014) by Random V — 15 Dec 2017
Any close look at Guantanamo Bay, even if fictionalized, is an interesting premise we should be curious about even if we can't be sure of its accuracy. Kristen Stewart's subtle non-verbal acting plays well for a character required to exercise strict military discipline, but compelled by empathy.
The relationships appear believable, and Peyman Moaadi performs excellently as a desperate inmate with little-to-no hope of release. Despite his beliefs, he dares reaching out to his captors for some understanding.
