Review of Calvaire (2005) by Jeff B — 04 May 2008

This was quite an odd film. A traveling singer's van breaks down and he finds an old motel to stay the night in. And then the owner of the inn turns out to be a little crazy. It starts out a little slow and then about half way through it gets really weird in a sort of creepy way.

And the scene in the bar is pretty freaky, too freaky to even explain. I guess the story's interesting, but I don't know, it just didn't work for me. Though the very ending's pretty nice.
