Eli roth's throwback to such films as evil dead and evil dead II the film is about a group of young people who go to a cabin out in the middle of the woods while one of the friends goes out hunting for an animal he shoots a hobo like person accidentally without knowing which later on after we first see the creepy bum he comes back needing help and spitting blood having just about all of his skin missing then destroys their car so then they all get the blood from the water system because of the bum's corpse inside the river where it comes from cabin fever is a strange disturbing thrill ride that has a few strange scenes and characters.
