Review of Cabin Fever (2003) by Mrnice — 26 Aug 2013
Don't ask me why I decided to watch this movie. I expected a horror movie with funny moments. It was pretty much the opposite. Lots of fun, gore, teenage-type dialogue, sex, partying. If you take it for what it tries to do, it's a decent attempt at movie-making.
But almost the entire plot is pointless, until the very end where we get introduced to the point of the pointlessness. In a way, it criticizes itself by exposing the danger of ignorance. The entire movie was one big exposition of that very ignorance! I don't know if that's brilliant or stupid.
I guess it's both.
