If you have any intention of watching Cabin Fever 2 - Spring Fever, then be warned! Don't watch it!

To call this film bad would be being too kind. In fact, it is so bad that it plumbs the depths of terribleness like few movies have ever done before.

The original's director Eli Roth is nowhere to be seen so this immediately rings of straight to dvd cash in. Rider Strong receives top billing again for appearing in what seem to be nothing other than flashbacks to the original movie, which should also tell you something about the array of acting talent roped into this.

In this ill-advised sequel, the deadly flesh eating virus is unleashed at a high school on prom night while our slightly dorky hero attempts to woo the girl of his dreams one last time. There is no plot other than this and the film is made up from badly scripted innuendos and scenes thrown in which give just another excuse to show some sex or boobs.

The gore effects are terrible, not helped by the fact that the entire movie looks like it was shot by someone who was pissed and couldn't focus the camera properly. The prom scenes are clearly aimed at provoking the kind of terror in the audience that Carrie did but could just easily have been CCTV footage from any tacky nightclub on a Saturday night.

There really is not a single even mediocre thing to say about Cabin Fever 2. It is gross, it is badly written and directed, not scary or entertaining and a vile example of film making. Everyone involved should feel thoroughly ashamed of themselves for saying yes to this piece of sh*t.
