Review of Cabaret (1981) by Harlan H — 27 Oct 2009
It's eerie how much Liza Minelli looks and sounds like her mother at points during this movie. I enjoyed her, Michael York's, and Joel Grey's performances. The "English speaking party" scene was funny.
You can definitely tell that this was orginally a stage show, and perhaps could have been adapted better for the screen to feel slightly less theatrical.
