Review of Miracle at St. Anna (2008) by Harlan H — 28 Feb 2009

I give it one star for the cinematography. That was basically the only good thing about the film. The film was way longer than it had to be. The entire first act is crap. And Spike Lee turned what could have been a good story in to racist garbage.

The acting was unbearable, which only proves yet again that Lee is not a good director. He makes far more terrible films than good ones. He even used slang from the Vietnam era that felt incredibly out of place in this film.

I am thankful that I only spent $1.00 at the redbox rental to see this film. Just terrible.
