Review of Burnt Offerings (1976) by Courtney M — 02 May 2008

Lord, this was like watching all of the excitement of a high brow piece of British theatre, without the inevitable relief of an intermission. I was told this movie was going to be scary, but it was nothing more than scenery-chewing melodrama and an increasingly outlandish and predictable plot that led to a sub-par climax.
