I bet the book upon which the film is based is quite good... unfortunately, the movie itself is just too long. The first 40 minutes were engaging set-up, the next 40 were just more of the same -then came the fab ending that moved to quickly.

Great idea that clearly influenced classics that followed but not quite a classic itself. 3-ish stars.
