After 5 equally jarring Transformers movies, Michael Bay (finally) passed the baton to Travis Knight. Bay's franchise had nowhere to go but up, yet Bumblebee comes in to reboot the franchise and inject it with a soul all of its own.
Bumblebee is a heartwarming tale of growing up in an unfamiliar and hostile setting.
