Review of Bumblebee (2018) by Zachary P — 10 Jan 2019
Finally, a true Transformers movie, besides the very first (Transformers: Shia Labeouf). Bumblebee is proof that you donï¿ 1/2(TM)t need an explosion every four minutes. It was a fun, entertaining movie that breathed new life into the franchise after its recent installments.
Hailee Steinfeld was amazing in the film and I loved the 80ï¿ 1/2(TM)s setting, very rad, and exciting. Itï¿ 1/2(TM)s the movie we didnï¿ 1/2(TM)t know we wanted or needed. It was a surprise how good it was, and it delivered.
The Cybertron introduction was awesome, and the film actually had a storyline that you were interested in and it didnï¿ 1/2(TM)t force unneeded action in every available minute. It had emotion and character.
Bumblebee is such a lovable character and he was presented in such a fantastic way. Very excited to see the sequels.
