Review of Bullitt (1968) by Kevin P — 31 May 2008
The car-chase is fantastic, even by today's super-slick, special-effects laden standards. But overall I struggled to really get into this film; which is a shame because the acting and the script are both good and when you learn that McQueen and Yates insisted on shooting the entire film on location, giving it that gritty look; it becomes a logistical masterpiece.
