Review of Bullets Over Broadway (1994) by Tanya K — 25 Nov 2007
A delightful, quirky comedy made for the artist. Allen shows us a bunch of egocentric characters but keeps a distance; he hardly ever uses close-ups and even allows people to walk in front of the lens.
Out of this world performances by Dianne Weist and Jennifer Tilly give insight to the over-the-top personalities of some actors and their artistic processes, while Chazz Palminteri is lovable as the hit man with an artistic soul.
