The highlight of this showbiz meets mobster movie is definitely the detail in each of these quirky characters. Though the plot is only average, the unique characters make it very enjoyable to watch. Dianne Wiest's performance is absolutely inspired and John Cusack plays off of her very well.
Jennifer Tilly is just obnoxious enough to be entertaining but not unbearably annoying. One of the nicest qualities of this movie is that it is a quality film but clean enough for a family to enjoy.
