Review of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948) by Eric L — 02 May 2007
Moody, creepy, and hilarious. A great blend between the two genres. Only "Bride of Frankenstein" did it better (and more subtle). Great to have all the monsters together in one place again. Some hokey and campy moments but.
..hey, it's Abbott & Costello. The end of an era though...as new monsters came in...the old ones had lost their shock appeal. But they are forever legends.
