Review of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948) by Dan R — 09 Feb 2014

I know I'm treading in unpopular territory, but I really cannot stand Abbott and Costello. That's not completely true ... I get a kick out of their verbal comedy, especially when Abbott is trying to pull one over .

.. but I detest their slapstick. It's probably fair to say that I like Abbott and hate Costello. Boy is this a Costello movie ... it feels like 90% repetive bits with him being afaraid and simpering while the monsters are vaguely menacing.

I hate this movie.
