Holy crap! I used to watch this show every week as a kid. What the hell was I thinking? The theatrical version of the pilot is really bad. Cliched script from Glen Larson, the creator of the original Battlestar Galactica has nothing worthwhile to offer.
Terrible editing, poor special effects, and a title sequence that almost made me turn off the movie right there. Honestly, it looked like it should have been in a softcore porno film!
