This film has always been a personal favorite and is, in my eyes, one of the absolute best films of all time. It is a haunting and deeply powerful tale of men struggling against a tyrant of immense evil that will stay with for a long time.
Dassin is a top notch director that sadly seems to have been lost in the shuffle over the years.
