A well made involving drama that really leaves the viewer feeling like theyve been dragged through the mud from start to finish. Fine performances all around, even Ethan Hawke. Brooklyns Finest captures the same nihilistic tone of 70's new hollywood while remaining firmly planted in the new century.

Each of the three stories that weave through Brooklyns Finest are all solidly told culminating in a white knuckle ending as they lead to the same place. This is not a faced paced film and it really takes its time to tell the stories it offers and thats what makes this film good.
