Although these types of cop movies have been overdone I liked the premise of the movie and how realistic it was drawn out on the big screen. I did not care much about Ethan Hawke I don't think he is a great actor but I felt for his character and trying to make ends meet to help his family.
In this movie the director pulls you to cheer for the cops and how crazy and difficult their lives are trying to protect the public. I would recommend to see this movie once, it's not a repeat like Heat or Casino.
