Review of Brooklyn (2015) by R D — 10 Feb 2016
A nice, sentimental period piece, that takes place in early 50s Ireland and Brooklyn. Saoirse Ronan deserves her nomination for Best Actress, with her portrayal of a young Irish girl who travels across the ocean to find a better life in America.
It's a very good movie, but it won't be the winner for Best Picture.
