Review of Heart o' the Hills (1919) by Greg W — 26 Apr 2015

A simple but effective little romance film that is set over multiple decades. Simply the story of a local Kentuckian girl who gains information that timber men want to plunder & steal all the coal & resource.

It has some cute scenes & she often steals the show with her undeniable presence on screen. It's very sentimental but like able nonetheless.

This was probably only one of the films she played a young character with a large amount of maturity. Pickford fans will appreciate...
