This was a good idea done bad. The whole movie was a bit too gay, and overtly camp for my liking. Obviously this was a movie converted from a show and it didn't work. The onstage theatrical interludes were irritating and I completely lost interest in the whole film after librarian kidknapping scene.
If you want to watch a movie about prison hard men, watch 'Chopper' instead.
