Review of Bronson (2009) by Joseph K — 02 Dec 2012
Bronson is a stunningly made character study of Michael Peterson/Charlie Bronson. It's fascinating, gripping, always engaging and is a marvel of both directing and acting. Tom Hardy gives one of the best performances I've ever seen on screen.
An absolute treasure of a movie that may borrow heavily from A Clockwork Orange, but stands on it's own as a dark, twisted, electrifying, powerful movie about Britian's most violent prisoner. One of my favorite films of all-time.
