Review of Bronson (2009) by Anthony P — 24 Sep 2016
Wow... It's Clockwork Orange meets Fight Club.
It's a dark, twisted glimpse into the life and psyche of "Britain's most violent prisoner." I was very much impressed by this film, Tom Hardy was absolutely brilliant as the ultra-violent and deranged Bronson.
It's way better than Nicolas Winding Refn's other film, Drive, in my opinion, and I really liked that film. Bronson is more stylized and has more character and substance than what Drive ever had. But Bronson seriously is a mad gem to be seen and I bet it will be appreciated much more in the future.
