Review of Bronson (2009) by Richard J M — 08 Sep 2013
Shot on a tiny budget (and you can tell), Bronson has its moments but by the films end, you feel as if you've just watched the same ten minutes continuously. Tom Hardy is outstanding as Bronson, which partially redeems the film, and Refn shows his talent, with some precise and excellent direction.
But this repetitive biopic is hard to get into, especially when you feel no sympathy towards the lead.
