This movie was the worst gay themed movie ever made. The story was completly disappointing. And what was with the accent of the stars? Were they shooting for a southern or cowboy accent that didn't make them sound like a retard? Heath ledger was so uncomfortable in all his scenes and it shows.
He mumbled many of the lines or failed to deliver them properly. The absurd notion that jack twists wife wouldn't notice that he was a FLAMING homosexual is also unbelievable. Overall the movie was over hyped because it was the first "mainstream" exposure to gay issues.
"Boys don't cry" was a far better movie than this flaming pile of poo. A 1000 monkeys typing for a 1000 days would come up with a better gay drama than this weak showing from Ang Lee who is overblown as a director.
