Review of Brighton Rock (1948) by Thomas M — 06 Jan 2009
Great movie, though a little dry in the middle. It's just crawling with bible imagery, but it wasn't too much somehow... Attenborough was a bit flat at first and through the movie, but his portrayal of his character was spot on and worked well in the whole scheme of things.
The ending was something to write home about, definitely one that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
