Another example of why not to trust professional critic reviews. I guess they got no kickbacks from this film. The people like it but the critics didn't....Interesting....Then conversely, look at the audience scores for the latest Star Wars trilogy....it bombed badly while the critics lauded it.

This is a generally well-written film incorporating fantasy lore into our known history. The character development is fairly well done considering the time frames in which that could happen. Trust in the people's voice, not the critics. This film is great escapism and worth a watch..
