Review of Bright (2017) by Tobias C — 22 Dec 2017
The people claiming that this movie was """"""great"""""" and critics are wrong, are the same idiots that unironically said that Suicide Squad was good.
What sounded like a good idea turned up to be an unoriginal, boring and cliché mess, I legitimately fell asleep while watching this movie, and had to watch it again.
The story is about racism, ignoring the magic wand, you could literally replace the elves and the orcs with real life races and it wouldn't make a difference, there are lots of moments you are like "why couldn't you do it earlier?" Or "Just fucking do it, why are you taking your time?".
The movie feels incredibly long it seems like it wants to end,but they try to find a way to extend it.
And finally, what the fuck was the point of the Orc's dead? (I forgot his name) He dies and in less than a fucking minute they revive him,and suddenly every Orc sees him like a king? And the original leader doesn't try to kill him again for some reason.
