Review of Bright (2017) by Bracken B — 25 Dec 2018

It's interesting to see a big disconnect (yet again) between critics and audience on a movie. Although some of the parallels to the 'real world' are a bit broad brush and obvious, and the movie seems to borrow some well know plot elements like Training Day's 'saving someone in need and being rewarded for it later twist'; overall it's a entertaining and exciting movie.

At the end of it, I was immediately wanting to see a sequel, and that seems a pretty clear message that the film had done its job pretty well.
