Excellent musical from the second lesser golden age of the Hollywood musical. Cyd Charisse is spectacular as always. Gene Kelly is also great. The real draw for me here is the story and the setting, although it would be much better if the print was cleaned up a bit.
I wish Charisse had more dancing scenes as well. Great picture overall. Makes me want to roam the Scottish highlands again.
