Review of Brigadoon (1954) by Matt H — 20 Feb 2014
The first ten minutes were enchanting, but the magic didn't last long. One thing I especially couldn't stand was Van Johnson's character, Jeff. He was so unpleasant and didn't add anything to the film.
The movie has some charming songs, but the weak story drags it down. (First and only viewing - 2/19/2014).
