Review of Brief Encounter (1945) by Paiman K — 18 Mar 2008
Celia Johnson conveys some of the most emotional and powerful acting from any classical actor I can recall. Her sadness and her longing are so obvious and visible that I feel her emotions and sympathize with her.
She really makes this film for me and I could easily give this a four and a half stars but I will need to see it a second time for that.
