Review of Bride of Frankenstein (1935) by Andrew S — 30 Jun 2007
The best horror/sci-fi film that has and will ever be made. A wonderful allegory on man's desire to "play God" and also a wonderfully delightful outlook on the nature and madness of science.
Ernest Thesiger steals every scene as Dr. Pretorius. Colin Clive is amazing as the good doctor. And, of course, Karloff is the penultimate Frankenstein. He just needs to talk more!
