The events of "The Bride Of Frankenstein" takes place right after the first movie, Dr. Frankenstein (Colin Clive) gets an offer from another 'mad' scientist named Dr. Pretorius (Ernest Thesiger) to make a mate for his first creation.
I think "The Bride Of Frankenstein" took a step further than the first movie, I think it's great to hear the monster (Boris Karloff) speak, the storyline has a lot more going on and the 'Bride' (Elsa Lanchester) is just fantastic.
A horror classic that is really worth seeing.
