Good sequels are the hardest pictures to make. "The cat is out of the bag." If you've seen the original film, you know the theme of the sequels. No big surprises. IMO, only a few sequels were better than the original.
"Dawn of the Dead." "Godfather II." And the over the top "Texas Chainsaw Massacre II" and "Death Wish 3." "The Bride of Frankenstein" is the best of all of the above.
The worst: Every sequel to "Jaws.".
