Review of Brick Mansions (2014) by Karla E — 26 Apr 2014
This was such a bitter sweet experience. When the movie starts, for a moment, the action sucks you in and you forget .. then Paul is on screen, and you remember and you ache and you wanna cry. David Belle almost makes you forget, man can he kicka** ! But to me, Paul's charisma..that easy smile, just reminded me why I will miss him and why I'll count the days till 2015 to see him again... the movie itself is not that bad, not big on plot or logic for that matter, but it's got action, explosions and a chick fight ( no Gina Carano level, but still a chick fight) so it's don't over think it fun.
Fave: Paul driving down the neighborhood, getting lots of love from the people around him..flashing that beautiful smile.
