Review of Brick Mansions (2014) by Paul D — 28 Jun 2015
Brick mansions. The part of the city that is now bricked off and housed only by the violent criminals. The crime is so bar the police constructed a huge wall around the outskirts to protect the rest of Detroit.
Damien Collier (walker) is an under cover cop who goes deep into brick mansions to make a criminal named Tremaine pay for his fathers death. Damien learns to trust Lino who lives in brick mansions and each day is a fight for him.
The unlikely team work together when Lino's girlfriend is kidnapped by Tremaine in a bi warfare bribe to the government. High octane explosive scenes. Decent stunts director Besson does a decent job.
A remake of french action film district b13.
