High school never seemed so fascinating and dangerous at the same time. In any movie. Brick, taking and making homage of the noirs of old, spins a fascinating tale of love, betrayal, death, violence, relationships, redemption and drugs and spins it with out of the park performances, impeccable pacing and directing and a certain meta feel that ascends it towards one of my personal favorites.
It's fucking phenomenal.
