Review of Brick (2006) by John O — 20 Apr 2010
Although I like the concept of a hard-boiled detective in a high school setting, this goes so far out of it's way to be an homage it's completely detached from reality. It could of been so much more compelling had it been a more genuine portrayal of teens.
Aside from that there's still some nice visuals, camera tricks and performances.
