It really is a good film, although it has a major flaw, which is that it's portrayed as a high school story... and it just doesn't fit. It's like it was supposed to be an adult's story, but then someone gave it a baby face.
However, if you can find it in yourself to look past this obscurity, you will find a good film on your hands.
