I thought I wouldn't see another movie like this after I saw Assassination of a High School President, but I had to give this movie a chance because JGL was lead. Brick is far superior to the other movie.
The film noir styling (mannerisms and dialog) was much better, the high school melodrama aspect of the movie was not as strong (which is a good thing), great performances all around, and I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
