Review of Brick (2006) by Sam N — 18 Jul 2012
Neat! At times, it seems like a satire to pontificate about the adults in the business of cocaine and all but as the movie progresses one can witness, just how deep the labyrinth goes in the world of youngsters where the drug supply chain management has become an integral part.
This shows the manipulation of innocent students involved directly or indirectly in the chain. Levitt definitely shines in this neo-noir cult thriller of a movie handling the high school mafia racket single-handedly to trap the killers of his estranged girlfriend who was a collateral damage to a major dealing.
Pretty impressive apart from being an interesting movie this was!
