Review of Breaking the Waves (2014) by Irina M — 07 Aug 2009
When I watch it I had many feelings: starting with amusement at the beginning, impatience at a moment,pity and indignation at the end. Even if it's a slow motion movie Von Trier gives it dramatic intensity.
It's really, really nice filmed and Emily Watson did a stunning performance. I can't call it beautiful but is more than sure remarkable through it's emotion power. Nevertheless it's one of my favourite movies.
