Well that was emotionally draining. Breaking The Waves is quite an intense film when it comes to how much emotion is brought into the film by actress Emily Watson. Lars Von Triers use of Dogma 95 conveys even more emotion at points having this film resemble a documentary.
The graininess and gritty look is haunting, especially towards the end.
