Review of Breakfast with Scot (2007) by Adrian S — 05 Jul 2008
A delightful little film, full of charm and easily likeable. The adult characters are fine, even though we've seen them a hundred times before. But it's the kids that really make it. They have a truthfullness that wasn't really there in the adults.
The fact that the film is centred on one of Canada's premier sports teams certainly gives it extra kudos and is one in the eye for the nonsensical "no gays here" head-in-the-sand mentality of many major sports organisations.
If you're in the mood for a sweet, good-natured, feel-good movie you'll enjoy this one.
