Review of Breakfast with Scot (2007) by Anaid G — 23 Mar 2010
Starts off pretty silly, but in an enjoyable way (the always high-strung Cavanagh plus the gayest character I've seen in a long time who happens to be a young boy). For just a little bit, a little over an hour in, the movie actually takes on a more serious role and seems to be headed to a nice place.
Then the cheesy ending begins and the movie becomes a feel-good and probably misses the mark at which it was aiming. One full star added for the likable kid characters (except the little asshole one).
